Dragon

This is about 4" long, a nice little fire-breathing dragon.

Plastic Fork, Knife, & Spoon Book

This grew out of a class assignment. We were required to make something out of plastic cutlery, so I rewrote the nursery rhyme about the cow jumping over the moon and made a pop-up book

Spit

Another collage from magazine images, it is hard to see but after obscuring all existing words with paint, just one word remained, right above the central figure: Spit.

Maze

Another collaged magazine image, I superimposed the figures over the maze and painted some areas of the photographs to put them together. It reminds me of the chess game in Alice in Wonderland.

John's Fish

This is about 3" long, a crazy colorful iron-scrap fish, all made from one piece of metal.

Portrait of Jackie

This is a life-sized oil on linen, a portrait of the eldest of a family of five. I painted each child when they reached the age of seven. This sitting was on a beautiful stretch of beach in Florida. The boy and his mom and I searched for the perfect location, making our way around no trespassing signs and turtle nesting areas before finding the right spot.
